EmPower Research is a Bangalore based company focused on providing Customized Business Intelligence, Media Services and Data Analytics. It is looking for suitable candidates for various positions.

The incumbent in the Analyst position will be responsible for leading research assignments for clients based in North America. The scope of work will include identifying the best sources of data, undertaking secondary research, and providing sound analysis.

This candidate must have the ability to think strategically and analytically in order to effectively assess each research assignment. In addition, this person must be able to draw clear and concise conclusions regarding research to present to various account staffers and executive leaders across the client teams.

The ideal candidate should have an MBA from a reputed school and 0-3 years of work experience in the management consulting, market research, financial services, telecom and/or IT industry. Having both will be a great plus. This person must be a self-starter, be able to juggle multiple projects and work under varying deadlines.

Comfort with using various research databases and tools i.e., Factiva and/or Lexis Nexis, academic databases (Proquest, Amigo), Hoovers Online, Internet research - (Google), Finance websites - (Yahoo Finance), Powerpoint is a plus.
