As the Govt. and The Management of Private colleges come into consciences, there would not be any complex issues for CET – 2009. Though the govt. didn’t bargain much, it didn't gained much also. It’s kind a relief for the students who are aspiring Engineering, Medical and other technical/Professional courses. The govt. was not in favor of continuing CET. They wanted to cancel it. But as of now for BDS/Ayurveda and Unani courses will be out of CET. May be govt. is into slowly eradicating the entrance exam.
Karnataka CET started in 1994 was one of the best admission systems in India till past few years. After the successful implementation of CET many states followed the same. But after the turmoil created by greedy commercial private institutions led by politicians the whole system was started to sink. Many students committed suicide. Even the Court ruling in favor of Private institutions killed the dreams and ambitions of thousand of middle class students.
Now the Seat Matrix is out as follows
