How to Apply
- Take a print out of the SBI Challan
- Go to any CBS Branch of SBI and pay the fee. (Click here for the list of SBI CBS Branches)
- Get Cash receipt with Branch Code and unique journal number
- Go to any Cyber Cafe, Internet Parlor, Antharjaala, or any PC with Net Connection
- You need to have a valid E-mail ID. If you dont have on create one for free visit GMail or Yahoo Mail
- Visit the link of SBI Online Application form and Apply Online (Direct Link for Application Form)
- Take a printout of the user ID, Password and application copy
Education Qualification :
A. Minimum 12th Standard (10+2) or PUC or equaivalent with minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS)
OR
A Degree from a recognised University (graduation level) with a minimum of agreegate 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PWD/XS)
Note :
Candidates who have not passed XIIth standard Examination but have passed Diploma course after Xth standard are eligible for the captioned
recruitment provided:
i) Diploma Course passed must be a full time course with a minimum of Two Years Duration (Diploma course through correspondence are not eligible).
ii) The Diploma course should be recognized/approved by the State Board of Technical Education of the concerned state.
iii) The percentage of marks in XIIth std/Diploma course shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects by aggregate maximum marks of all subjects irrespective of optional/additional optional subjects studied. Similarly percentage of marks in Graduation shall also be arrived at by dividing the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects by maximum marks of the course (both for pass/Honours course) for all the years of the course.
B. Matriculate Ex-Servicemen Candidates, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or the Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
C. Should be able to write and speak English fluently.
D. Knowledge of local language will be an added qualification.
Age :
a) Minimum Age : 18 years ; Maximum Age : 28 years (as on 01.10.2009.) Candidates born between 30.09.1981 & 01.10.1991 both days
inclusive are only eligible to apply.
b) The upper age limit will be relaxed as under :
Important Notes:
(A) Applicant should be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 01.10.2009
(b) Applicant should be 12th standard (10+2) passed or equivalent qualification with 60% marks (55% for sc/st/pwd/xs) or a degree from a recognised university (graduation level) with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for sc/st/pwd)
(c) Only online applications will be accepted
(d) Before applying candidate should go to any cbs branch of state bank of india and deposit rs. 250/- (rs. 50/- for sc/st/pwd/xs candidates) in specific account number.
(e) Collect the receipt with unique branch code number and deposit journal number given by the bank.
(f) Log on to www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. Click the flashing “recruitment in clerical cadre in sbi”. Select “apply online”. Enter your personal particulars and give the unique branch code number
and deposit journal number in the payment details. After filling all the fields, click the submit button, registration id & password will appear. These may be noted for future reference. Your application is
complete.
(g) After completion you may take a printout of the completed application and keep the same alongwith the cash receipt received from the branch. Cash receipt will be required to be submitted at the time of written test, otherwise the candidate will not be allowed to write the test.
(h) No printed application needs to be sent to bank.
