Like all his earlier books Chetan Bhagath starts with an interesting prologue in 2 States. Which is always a tragedy and more than enough to make you curious about why such situation arises. Then officially you are under control of Chetan. You cannot put the book down till you finish reading it.

This time Chetan took the subject of Love. Which is off course like his earlier books the most attractive subject for Youths. Need not to say it’s based on his own love story with his IIMA classmate and now his wife Anusha with a bit of masala stuff added for more dramatic and cinematic narration. 

Even though there are thousands and thousands of Books and stories written movies made on the subject Love, you love reading 2 states because of the way it is presented, and the reality part of it (Considering this story is happening between Chetan and Anusha as a real characters). When the two main characters of 2 states falls love with each other, the readers falls in love with it’s characters. Even the differences in cultures, traditions, beliefs, habits are all narrated in a healthy humor .

The book is like a south Indian Meals or North Indian Thali. Dramatic turns, Cinematic situations, sex, Love, College Life, Parents, Family, Celebrations, Excitement, Disappointment, Spirituality. There is every ingredient in this book that is required to make a good reading

And don’t just conclude it’s another love story. There is another angle for this book. Like his earlier books here also there is a concern for his country. He goes one step further and makes a funny statement like “ I love you for the sake of my country”. But how this is relevant you need to read the book yourself.
