Job Description- Manager- Recruitment
Position Description
Job Function & Responsibilities:- The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to clients which include hiring managers, HR team members and applicants. The primary responsibilities of this role include partnering with the Human Resources Generalists and hiring managers to engage in workforce planning for the India operations, determine short and long term staffing requirements, create strategies & action plans to hire the right talent from the market, leading hiring managers through the selection process, ensuring overall process integrity and providing relevant and timely reporting on staffing activities.

Must possess the ability to recruit in a high volume / high pressure environment. Also have the ability to be creative in terms of the hiring sources and device strategies to generate candidate leads from both traditional / non traditional sources, create appropriate sales pitch to attract top talent in the organization, work with HR Generalist and Hiring managers for proper fitment in the organization. Responsible for designing & executing candidate warm up process through hiring manager to reduce offer declines/drop outs.Ability to manage large teams, consisting of recruiters, co-ordinators.

Ability to work with global cross functional teams in a metrics environment. Ability to get and present appropriate reports and use data for decision making purposes. Ability to make presentations and represent India recruiting organization in front of global customers and stake holders. Ability to set goals, measure the performance and motivate team members. The Recruiting Manager will also be the Global Staffing focal point for India. In this capacity the Recruiting Manager will ensure that HR team members in international locations have a single point of contact/facilitator to assist in resolving staffing process needs.

Additionally, the Recruiting Manager will lead one of the following six practice areas: diversity outreach, sourcing, university relations, executive recruitment, process automation, or process compliance.The Recruiting Manager will work closely with the Director, Global Staffing to establish the processes, procedures and infrastructure needed to build a "best practice" global staffing organization. A high degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.

Position Requirements
Skills Required:
  • Provide exceptional client service within the IT organization:
  • Conferring with senior leadership to identify staffing needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Developing complete and detailed internal postings and external search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements.
  • Partner with the Global Staffing Sourcing team to develop a strong pipeline of high caliber talent for all current and anticipated staffing requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  • Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Creating and fostering relationships with institutions and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
  • Managing the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components of the recruitment process.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and quality-improvement studies with hiring managers and new hires.
  • Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
  • Initiating and maintaining excellent working relations within the Human Resources organization.
  • Using effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness.
  • Working cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
  • Visiting all hiring manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and using that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
  • Participating in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies. Staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.

  • Strong professional experience in full life cycle recruiting, preferably with a global, well regarded company.
  • An expert level of knowledge in all full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
  • Knowledge and extensive past use of an applicant tracking system.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage projects, particularly projects with geographically dispersed team members.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing and oral communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive leadership and technical communities.
  • Ability to build search assignment abstracts from client engagement discussions and forms.
  • Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level leaders.
  • Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, while creating and managing strategic alliances.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on an international, multi-location level.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, beating competitors, and operating within financial resource constraints.
Education/Training Required: Bachelor’s Degree and above 8 years of recruiting experience
