Loyola Institute of Business Management(LIBA) in association with IDG Ventures and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) launched pan-India business plan competition today. The objective of the contest is to foster entrepreneurship through identifying and recognizing ideas and talent that can create tomorrow's businesses.

The contest is open for teams which include students, entrepreneurs, and experienced professionals. If you have a business idea that that involve or leverage technology in any sphere of human activity – Like services, agriculture, manufacturing, construction or education etc. said press release.

The competition opens in the last week of August 2008 and registration will close on September 23, 2008. The final event, when the finalists will make presentations to the Jury is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2008, in Chennai. Register yourself for the competition.

	The 10 Finalists' Business Plans will be eligible to be considered for VC funding (by IDG VENTURES) of US Dollar Five hundred thousand (USD 5,00,000/-) or more.

• Rupees Five Lacs (Rs. 5,00,000/-) worth of prizes!     
• Associate Membership of TiE, Chennai (valid for one year) for the Team Members
